A total loss of boundaries, a roller coaster for the soul, ROLLING IN LOVE celebrates love as the ultimate addiction—a core theme for KILIAN since its founding over ten years ago.
ROLLING IN LOVE is a musc de peau, capturing the sensation of feeling so high on love that it seems to almost “get under the skin”. An intoxicating perfume, it slips naturally within one of four olfactive families that define founder and creative director Kilian Hennessy’s unique approach to fragrance creation: THE NARCOTICS.
Working with perfumer Pascal Gaurin, Kilian Hennessy took an entirely new direction with this blend, varying his olfactive style. ROLLING IN LOVE is more direct and less faceted than his previous fragrances— almost “monochromatic” in its focused representation of a single emotion. Indeed, his intention was make ROLLING IN LOVE a “white” scent, layering different textures along the scent’s trail with notes of ambrette seeds, almond milk, iris, freesia, and musk.
Feeling speechless but exhilarated, poetic but a bit crazy, lost but also exactly where you need to be—this is the overwhelming sensation of ROLLING IN LOVE. Touching the other is to touch self, boundaries and ego defenses fall. You are rolling in it now, totally.
The scent instantly envelopes lovers in an intimate cocoon with notes of ambrette seeds absolute and an almond milk accord. A voluptuous, empathetic and maddening heart of Iris concrete and Freesia accord turn sensations towards ecstasy. Tonka bean absolute, pure vanilla extract and tuberose absolute brush onto the skin with unforgettable notes of musk, intertwining with sweeter notes
for no beginning and no end. ROLLING IN LOVE definitely rolls deep.
To express this passion, ROLLING IN LOVE debuts a new color scheme for the iconic KILIAN flacon—an astonishing red with golden accents. A signature Achilles shield motif adorns the sides, highlighting Kilian Hennessy’s core belief in the protective power of perfume.
Love is one hell of a drug.
And it’s the simply the best: free, life-changing and incredibly powerful. While nothing is better than the real thing, ROLLING IN LOVE gets close to the insanely addictive trip that love is.
